Branded posts were my bread and butter at BuzzFeed. And while bread and butter can be boring, if you work hard, make it just right, and maybe spice it up with some garlic (which are em dashes in this metaphor), it can be as satisfying as a full meal.

For these posts, I pitched concepts to clients based on their RFPs, then wrote the full article as well as social posts driving to it. These posts were sometimes a part of a larger Buzzfeed campaign, but often were created without one. Stand-alone articles could be more difficult than full campaigns because I had to write engaging, eye-catching pieces without an overarching throughline to guide it.
